波多黎各裔（Puerto Rican）的Kurious 來自曼哈頓的上西區（Upper West Side, Mannhatten），一個被稱為Manhattan Valley的社區。1993年初，他的天賦讓他參與了前3rd Bass成員Peter Nice和Daddy Rich的專輯《Dust to Dust》，在〈3 Blind Mice〉這首歌客串演出。
Kurious曾在Pete Nice的幫助下於1992年推出了自己的首發單曲〈Walk Like a Duck〉，更於 1994年初在Pete Nice的Hoppoh Records上發行了他的首張專輯《A Constipated Monkey》。 這張專輯受到紐約地下樂隊粉絲的稱讚，他的西班牙式英語腔調（Spanglish tone）會讓人聯想到皇后區拉丁饒舌團體The Beatnuts。
在那之後，Kurious曾在1999年時客串MF Doom專輯《Operation: Doomsday》中的單曲〈?〉，並 2009 年發行了第二張個人專輯《II》，其中包括單曲〈Back From Up Unda〉、〈Back with VIC〉、〈Sitting’ in My Car〉和〈Drinks in the Air〉。
